There appears to be something called an MRU cache or an MRU table. I don't know what the term means, but it appears to be appropriate when discussing hardware or software caches. So Microsoft didn't invent the acronym.
- The term related to caches are LRU (Least Recently Used), which is used in page replacement algorithms in cache memories. What I doubt is whether MRU is a Windows specific term? --Soumyasch 17:47, 7 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
