Tweaked info-box "Starring"

I tweaked the order of actors in the info-box. I was a little confused why Linden Ashby was ordered first. At first, I thought it was because the actors were listed alphabetically but since this wasn't the case, I simply moved up Robin Shou (leading man) and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (lead villain) to the top of the actor list. Are there any clear-cut criteria for Starring order for film info-boxes? --CaptainNtheGameMaster (talk) 15:08, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

This link is basically dead since this info was removed from a RIAA site. Gleb95 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:38, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

Entertainment Weekly article

Entertainment Weekly recently published an article featuring an interview with the director. It talks about how the director feels the movie broke the "video game movie curse", and it refers somewhat to the film's cult classic status in a way but not in those exact words. I was considering taking the initiative to use it as a source to add some quotes or additional text, possibly under 'Legacy' or even 'Production'. Maybe use it as a source for calling it a "cult classic". But since I'm a little bit new at editing -- if anyone would like to take the reigns for me on this one or just offer some input on what is usable in the article and where it'd go, that would be great. Non-canon storyline

Raiden and Shao Kahn aren't brothers in the primary storyline that is MK1-7+9-11 just for example. This is a retelling where the director has taken some liberties which is commonplace in licensed movies. If possible, we could mention the word "non-canon" to in the article description to clear any confusion on this. ToniTurunen (talk) 10:19, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Speaking of confusion - where is it stated that Raiden and Shao Kahn are brothers? It's not mentioned in the current plot, and I've seen the film a fair few times - I don't recall any mention of the two being related? In fact it's made clear that Raiden is a God,[1] and Shang Tsung is a "demon sorcerer"[2] so the two have distinct backgrounds. Chaheel Riens (talk) 10:47, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
