Addition of black metal

edit

I'll wait until a reference of the black metal genre. If anything, the album has black metal characteristics only on the guitars as stated by Åkerfeldt (somewhere). There are no shrieks or raspy vocals which are distinctive characteristics for black metal unless there is a technique I'm missing. I may want listen to Morningrise again so I can "be on the same page". --CircafuciX (talk) 06:59, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Opeth morningrise.jpg

edit

Image:Opeth morningrise.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

In the introduction: 'It was also the last Opeth release with drummer Anders Nordin and bassist Johan De Farfalla.'

In 'Recording and production': 'It was also the last album that was recorded with Johan De Farfalla and Anders Nordin.[5]'

In 'Recording and production': 'Morningrise includes Opeth's longest song ever recorded, "Black Rose Immortal", with a length of 20:15'

In 'Musical style and lyrical themes': 'This album also features Opeth's longest recorded song, "Black Rose Immortal", which lasts over 20 minutes.'

Not sure how to fix this myself. --213.180.0.3 (talk) 08:28, 16 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
