Edits regarding Church of the Firstborn

Edits by Reporter 41, on 30 June 2010, contained information on the Mormon colony of the Fundamentalist Church of the Firstborn. I removed the material from the article, but believe a rewrite would probably be appropriate for a separate section in this article or a reference to the article on the Firstborn. Colonia LeBaron was founded with the Mormons that never changed their polygamyst practices, they are considered "old Mormons" as they never left the church but feel the church "abandoned them" when they refused to leave their extended families.

The practice of Mormon polygamy continues with the separation of the Church of the Firstborn of the Fulness of Times that is a Mormon fundamentalist sect headquartered in northern Mexico that was founded in 1955 by Joel LeBaron and members of his family. Often ignored by mormon historians, Numerous mormon pioneer families have roots in Colonia LeBaron which is a FLDS colony and LDS Colonia Juarez and Dublan.

1912 flight from Mexico to El Paso area

The following is a good recent newspaper article about the move onto the El Paso area of former colonists of the Mormon colonies in Mexico:

NOT MORMON

SO these colonies are no longer associated with the LDS church and not called Mormon. Once polygamy was outlawed the LDS "Mormon" church quit all practices. Those that still continue with these practices are called FLDS ("Fundamental Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) they have no association with the LDS Church. So I feel that this needs to be updated. OR get sources correct. Many believe that these members are Mormon but are not.
