Moon Mullican from Country music article

Former Western Swing singer/pianist/guitarist/accordionist Moon Mullican emerged as a versatile and unclassifiable country hitmaker in the 1940s with a penchant for the blues such as "Pipeliner blues" as well as blues-styled ballads like "There's a chill on the hill tonight" and "I'll sail my ship alone" (his biggest hit). His style of music would echoe the later generes of rockabilly, Lonnie Donegan-style skiffle and early rock 'n' roll. The nickname "Moon"

I've removed this text from the article:

Moon Mullins, created by cartoonist Frank Willard (1893–1958), was a popular American comic strip which had a long run as both a daily and Sunday feature from June 19, 1923 to June 2, 1991. It proved so popular that men named Mullins [or anything similiar], born from about the 19-teens through the 1960s, were as likely as not to be nicknamed "Moon." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_Mullins#Origins_and_history
