- It would be the "Monument of the Founding of Mexico−Tenochtitlan". I tried Google-ing this phrase but it seems like no English source has translated it in their language. - @MX: I created the article based on the 2 inline citations used in the current version of the article. I suspect most people who want to find an article on this topic will use the Spanish name. I couldn't find any sites on Google that use an English-language title. Trip Advisor calls it "Monumento a la Mexicandidad", which can be translated to the awkward "Monument of Mexicaness". As for the question of capitalization of "fundacíon", I see no reason to use the cap.Michael E Nolan (talk) 23:00, 21 January 2019 (UTC)Michael E Nolan
- I found and added another government source, the Historic Center website, which calls it Monumento a la Fundación de México-Tenochtitlán. Note the a (to) instead of de (of) and the final á. Assuming it is, indeed, a stress mark, it does sound correct that the last syllable is stressed, though perhaps a native speaker can comment on whether it is unnecessarily redundant (i.e. would the last syllable be stressed without the mark?). The two cited government sources and Brittanica use á. ["monument of the foundation of mexico-tenochtitlan" nGrams] show significant usage of both – currently 9:4 without the accent. I don't find any hits in a Google search for "monument of the foundation of mexico-tenochtitlan" or "monument to..." —[AlanM1(talk)]— 06:17, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
