Montgomery Ward's own watch brands
I would like to know about their own watch brands, LeGant/Le Gant/Legant (what is the actual name?) and Dorset, especially how they came up with the Le Gant name. (I know there was also Le Gant jewellry) Middle More Rider (talk) 14:44, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
I have found out that the Warner Brothers Corset Company (later, Warnaco) had a range called Le Gant, French for The Glove, obviously for the good fit of the items. Not a logical name for Montgomery Ward to invent for watches and jewellery, so did Montgomery Ward buy the name off Warners, just because it was a well known name?
