Ingredients section edit

The Ingredients section reads like adverting copy taken from the company, and spoiler alert, it is. Much of the text, even despite apparent edits to improve it, is recognisable as coming from the company's FAQ page cited as a source. NB: The page it is taken from is no longer accessible from the link, but is using the archive.org's Wayback Machine: http://web.archive.org/web/20130102171247/http://www.arnotts.com.au/faq.aspx

Arnott's FAQ page: "Arnott's identified trans fatty acids (TFAs) as an issue of importance more than 10 years ago and took action then to significantly reduce the level of TFAs in their biscuits by replacing partially hydrogenated animal fats with vegetable oils."
Wikipedia page: "Arnott's identified trans fatty acids as an important issue over a decade ago.[when?] They then took action to reduce the level of TFAs in their biscuits. They replaced the partially hydrogenated animal fats with vegetable oils."

Arnott's FAQ page: "MSG is naturally present in many foods. If any of our products contain added MSG, this would be listed as 'flavour enhancer (621)' in the ingredient list on the label."
Wikipedia page: "Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is naturally present in many foods. Monte Carlo products contain added MSG and labels them as flavour enhancers."

Arnott's FAQ page: "Arnott's uses sea salt, which is made in South Australia by evaporating seawater."
Wikipedia page: "Arnott's uses sea salt derived from South Australia's evaporating seawater."

Arnott's FAQ page: "Lecithin, which is present in Monte Carlo biscuits, comes from soybeans and is a very common emulsifier in many foods."
Wikipedia page: "It's derived from soybeans. Lecithin is a very common emulsifier in a wide range of foods."

I am removing the section, I don't believe the information it contains is established as being that notable or encyclopedic, nor that it is the kind of information people expect or want from a product page on Wikipedia.

...oh and as per the ingredients list found here: https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-national/product/arnotts-biscuits-monte-carlo it doesn't seem like MSG is currently an added ingredient — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.168.151.30 (talk) 06:43, 7 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
