editThe "Monster Movie (band)" page was apparently created then deleted because it didn't show significance (A7 was cited as the reason for deletion). This is my attempt to get the page back up, so here are my reasons for why it's important/significant.
- Radio airplay on KEXP in Seattle- you can search the kexp.org site for "Monster Movie" and you will find them in several place. For example, the band is at #80 on their list of regular rotation for March 2010. Also, one of the DJ's published a review of the band. That is just one very important radio station, and I'm guessing they get airplay on a lot of others. Seattle is not even their hometown, and it is also an influential city in the music world.
- Over 418,000 plays on last.fm. If you go to last.fm and search for "Monster Movie" or "Monster Movie band" you should find their page which displays a play count.
- A significant presence on youtube.com. A lot of videos, with hundreds or thousands of views per video. View statistics on youtube.com show that the band has listeners worldwide.
- A significant presense on myspace.com. A lot of songs, with hundreds or thousands of plays per song.
- Professional glass-master CD production of commercially packaged albums on indie labels Clairecords and Graveface.
I am attempting to re-create the page, and am starting with a wikipedia stub I found at enotes.com. Please don't delete the whole page if there are problems with it- a page should exist for this band, and it should get fixed if there are problems with it.
Who is in the band?
editWho was in the band? When? Officially or not? And who just contributed? I don't know, exactly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.183.233.10 (talk) 10:38, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
