This disambiguation page is supposed to use the correct Wikipedia terminology and a neutral point of view. Saying "United Kingdom" in this context rather than "Wales" acknowledges the fact that and various points in history Monmouthshire was in England. Similarly, phrases like "modern county" and "former county" are not only inaccurate, they are not NPoV and not what the piped articles link to. And I suppose describing Monmouthshire as being in the UK rather than Wales is not POV? As for the present-day county of Monmouthshire not being a county, I suggest you try telling that to Monmouthshire County Council. Enaidmawr (talk) 22:58, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
