Talk:Mongolian Revolution of 1911

Bogd Khan vs. Bogd Khaan edit

Since khan is the most common transcription by far of this word, I'd like to change this article to match. Does anybody really find this objectionable? --Orange Mike | Talk 20:10, 26 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Moved the page to "Mongolian National Liberation Revolution of 1911" edit

Mongolians use this term. Ancientsteppe (talk) 03:27, 25 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

It is highly recommended to discuss before moving the page. There are some issues regarding the new title: first, it should be able to indicate that the setting of the revolution was in Outer Mongolia, then a region of the Qing Dynasty; second, the new title has basically no Google hits except this WP article itself, and in WP we should try to use the common names in English language. Cheers! --Chinyin (talk) 04:25, 25 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Moved to "Mongolian Revolution of 1911" because all Mongols (buryats, oirats, upper mongols and southern mongols) supported and assisted in Mongolian National Liberation Revolution.Ancientsteppe (talk) 09:45, 30 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
