This article should be edited to meet with Wikipedia's formatting standards. It should be in paragraph form. Also, instead of saying "See ___," make a "See also" section. -PhattyFatt 00:46, 1 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Did that now. --Drieakko 04:25, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Drieakko, why did You undo the changes? Because You don't have a clue about the Finnish history so please stop harassing the works of others. Do You like having all your contributions removed instantly without discussion? Who the f*ck You think You are, the only person with permission to edit Wikipedia??

First, there are several records of ancient Finnish monarchs. The beginning of the chapter "Early developments" was a lie contrary to well known facts (from all over Europe) and even other Wikipedia articles. Notice I didn't say accurate records.

Second, there's nothing 'nominal' with the Charles IX's title. He was a king and ruled also Finns. So what 'nominal' there is in the title? It didn't say Finnish king. Wikipedia articles should be accurate without biased unhistorical 'facts'. Please help to attain that instead of automatically reverting everything to the old unaccurate versions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.248.154.130 (talk) 16:06, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Anonymous user, kindly note WP:NPA. Please give references what are the "several records of ancient Finnish monarchs". A title is nominal if it has no administrative concept behind it. There was no specific administrative arrangement whatsoever for Finns who were fully governed under the King of Sweden. Thus "King of Finns" was only a nominal addition. --Drieakko 17:04, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
After not receiving any comments or references, I removed the claim about records of ancient Finnish kings. Also reworded the note about Charles IX's title to be more generally understandable. --Drieakko 12:13, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

There certainly was a Kingdom of Finland. Finland remained a monarchy until 1919. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.224.91.84 (talk) 07:56, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

However the Lapps or Sameh do not have royalty. Chiefs of their small clans, perhaps.119.224.91.84 (talk) 07:56, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

The first sentence is very punny. Kudos to whoever wrote it. -HawkeyE (talk) 04:07, 23 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
