Any reliable sources for the "Pohje"

In the section "Origin of name and cultural significance", it says: "The name is connected to the ancient Indo-European population of the Pohje, speaking a language close to the Baltic."

This section seems to be a translation of the Russian wiki entry for Moksha river, and both do not have a source for that claim. I tried looking and researching any results for "Pohje" but all I get, is that it is Finnish for calf (leg). Does anyone have a counterclaim or should this be simply deleted? Delete first paragraph in "Origin of name and cultural significance" to the article

The relevance of the first paragraph in relation to the specificy is not clear and it is inaccurate: "Russia, "Russian culture" and "its people" did not exist "towards the end of 1st millennium AD" and "the terms of Russia, Russkiye appeared" only much later. Whoever wrote this is conflating Russia/Rusianns with "Rus" and "Rus people" who would only many hundred years later split into Belarusians, Ukrainians and Russians.
