Dispute: First or second orca captured and/or displayed...?

The "precedence" question seems to keep coming up in edits made to the Moby Doll and Namu and Shamu articles. The most detailed "precedence" discussion exists currently on the Talk:Namu_(orca) Talk page:

and

Summary: It seems fairly well documented (at least it does not appear to be disputed) that "Wanda" ("the Newport Specimen") was the first orca ever captured (1961 November). It is also known / documented that Wanda was introduced into the large oval tank at Marineland of the Pacific on the day she was captured where she was (presumably) on public display - at least for the one day before she died 35 hours after being introduced into the tank.

1. Wanda - captured 1961 November 18, died 1961 November 20, (public display 1 day?)
2. Moby Doll - captured 1964 July 16, died 1964 October 9, first orca to be on public display (for more than 1 day)
3. Namu - captured 1965 June 25, died 1966 July 9, first orca to 'perform' together with people in water
4. Shamu - captured 1965 October 31, died 1971 August 23, first orca to survive more than 12 months in captivity
5. etc.
