Vin number location edit

Please I need some help to locate the Vin number of my car a Mitsubishi Lancer 2002 ES. a few years ago my car was stolen from me in Czech republic. after two years i found it but all the correct information from the car was gone and replaced with a fake one . they erased the correct vin number from the dish board, doors and from under the hood ( in the Mitsubishi is just a sticker not typed as one in Europe. i have the car now but in order to register the car, the motor department asked to find where is the vin number of the car to confirm that was the right one and register. As i said, i bought this car from the state and now i am in Europe. the police told me it in the engine but i can not find this number.

Thanks for any advise. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.176.22.11 (talk) 13:10, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
