I wrote this article in my personal sandbox and copied and pasted it here. Is my sandbox searchable, or will a WP search for "mitri raheb" yield only this article? Do I need to delete the contents of my sandbox, or can I just delete the CorenSearchBot tag?

POV problems

Article about highly controversial figure that gives no hint of the fact that he is a highly controversial figure, known, among other things, for anti-Jewish statements and for denial of a Jewish connection to the Land of Israel.E.M.Gregory (talk) 11:18, 9 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Feel free to put in the article a statement of this denial sourced by WP:reliable sources. However, as this POV discussion has not moved since February 2018, I'll feel free to remove the tag. Place Clichy (talk) 13:52, 26 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
Mitri Raheb celebrated the Hamas massacres on the evening of October 7, 2023 as “new forms of creative resistance.” After an interview with German TV channel WDR on December 23, 2023, in which he described Gaza's appearance as "worse than Dresden after the Second World War," the broadcaster distanced itself from Raheb and deleted the TV-Show from the media library. WDR wrote as justification:
"(...) We discussed the article intensively in the editorial team. It turned out that the background research on the interviewee was insufficient. The people involved were not aware of the post to which you refer. They were aware of the statement, which he made on October 7th, Mitri Raheb would not have been invited to the current hour. There is no discussion in the editorial team about the fact that someone who assesses the events as a “form of creative resistance” should not be an interlocutor. Therefore We have decided to remove the article from the media library." Metasoma (talk) 17:44, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Out of date

edit

Article is now well out of date; possibly due to the restrictions on editing. For example, Raheb is no longer the pastor of the Christmas Church in Behtlehem.

I'm currently researching an essay an Raheb and Ateek and would be prepared to do some editing on this. However i don't have the necessary 500 edits. Will research how to propose edits through the ER template, but if anyone has any advice to offer I should be grateful. Matruman (talk) 23:22, 22 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

It appears to be necessary to mention the criticism on this highly controversial discussed public fugure.
