Grafton Road Methodist Church

edit

Watt's obituary mentions this Church as being constructed by him but I can find very little on the Church and it certainly is not extant. Grafton Road Wesleyan Church which is probably the same building is pictured here: https://www.aucklandmuseum.com/collection/object/1084928 and Watt could have been involved with it given it was constructed in 1885: [1]. A Grafton Road Methodist Church is mentioned here: [2] with the implication being the Church's land was taken and the building was presumably demolished but there is no confirmation beyond this. Given I cannot definitively connect the two buildings and the scant information I've left it out. Traumnovelle (talk) 05:31, 8 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
