Article
editOkay, I've redone most of the article so it has more structure and not just one whole paragraph. Could someone please put an image up as I think that would improve the article. Also, can people stop putting stupid "trivia" information? Thanks :) ` Natasha1994 14:35, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Table
editWhy is the flimography table messed up? Can someone (that knows how) please fix it?i do not know why it is messed up
I'll see what i can do.Peace, Cute 1 4 u 03:36, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and fixed it. --lightdarkness (talk) 18:03, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Whoever cleaned up that part about his myspace and his IMDb account, i dunno if you can retrieve it or something but it's true. It's not some poser. and who removed his fansite link?
- I removed it, it doesn't belong in the article. --lightdarkness (talk) 17:27, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
well can i put his fansite link on there? oh and by the way, the filmography table is messed up again..
- I've fixed the filmography table again, if you believe the external link is inline with Our external link policy, go ahead and add it. --lightdarkness (talk) 19:44, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
everything dissapeared except a few sentences.
I reverted the article back to its former state. Sorry about overturning you guys' repairs. Bibliomaniac15 00:32, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
== New Mitchel Pictures
I added a more recent picture of Mitchel Musso. This image is from November 6, 2006--Thsms204 22:20, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Biography?
editGee, whoever wrote that wonderful biography on him is a little bit biased...don'tcha think? :P
Someone please edit. And shame on you for not picking that up.
Garland or Rockwall?
editWe know Mitchel's from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, but I've seen versions of the page saying he's from Garland and another (the current version) saying Rockwall. Which is correct? WAVY 10 19:43, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- The cite used for the information says Garland. The IMDB article cited was written by Mitchel's mother so is likely accurate.--NrDg 15:07, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
- IMDB is not a reliable source for information as it allows anyone to edit it without providing reliable sources. The fact Musso's Mother provided the information on the page gives me reason to believe this article may have conflict of interest and may need to be rewritten. 72.152.135.75 (talk) 01:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
He is Actually from Rowlett over by the Lake Point hospital near the lake. I've met this kid personally along with his brother Mason(who is in the band Metro Station) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.170.93.6 (talk) 23:59, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Music
editShouldn't the article mention his songs at all? He has two songs, one's called Let's Go and the other is Wasn't Your Girlfriend - http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=EtGHmH_oaGM
http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=GO9tVmvAuhQ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Empororllid (talk • contribs) 00:05, 19 August 2007 (UTC).
- If you can find some reliable source such as a newspaper or major news site that talks about it, sure. I don't think YouTube would count. --NrDg 00:12, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Christian
editCan anyone please tell me if Mitchel is a Christian. Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.246.35.67 (talk) 00:07, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- This is not a forum for general questions. If his religious self identity was known and sourced it would probably be in the article. --NrDg 00:29, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
Hello and Somebody Please Edit...
editHi everybody, I do not want to edit the page as I do not want my IP address listed. I am a huge fan of Mitchel and know quite a lot about him. Yes, he is Christian. He will go back to Texas on Sundays when he is free just to go to church. Okay, so now I need the help of someone who is able to edit the information. In the first paragraph, it says in parentheses that Mitchel is the lead singer of the band Metro Station. This is INCORRECT!!! He is currently working on some songs of his own and doing Jingle Jam concerts around the country. However, he is NOT in the band Metro Station. It is in fact his older brother, Mason Musso, that does the lead vocals for the band. So will somebody please change this??? Thanks!
- I am sorry but unless you can add sources proving your claims no one can add this information without it later being deleted for lack of references. 72.152.135.75 (talk) 00:52, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Sorry
editSorry, I forgot to sign and date my post above, 'Hello and Somebody Please Edit...' so sorry! It was posted like a minute after I posted this one. 70.235.87.166 (talk) 23:55, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well when you sign your post or even edit a talk page your IP is recorded and easily access publicly, infact I'm looking at it right now. Sorry, 68.219.26.177 (talk) 03:08, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
CAN SOMEONE FIX THIS PLEASE?????
editat the beggining it says that he is the mot big nosed awful sounding... cam someone please fix that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.164.189.57 (talk) 02:11, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Incorrect information?
editThe article currently lists Mitchel Musso as a Hip Hop, Rap, R&B artist which in my opinion is incorrect as his genre is clearly a pop imitation of the latter. I'll change it unless someone can provide a reason not to (and hopefully some sources as well). On a similar note I have once again added the templates at the top of the page that had been deleted, please fix the problems these templates suggest the article may have before deleting them. Thanks! **EDIT** Once again please do not delete the templates without fixing the problem first, otherwise you risk starting a revert war which may later harm this article instead of improving it. 72.152.135.75 (talk) 00:50, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Please refrain...
editPlease refrain from adding information such as "[Miley Cyrus, Mitchel Musso, and Emily Osment] are often calling over their phones & text-messaging each other." The personal cell phone habits of Disney Channel actors and actresses is not notable and hardly significant to anyone seeking information on said talent. This sentence also cites no references or reliable sources and as a result may just be word of mouth. 72.152.135.75 (talk) 00:59, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Rap Album
edit"He also has his own rap album in the works, and even co-wrote six songs for it. The songs on the album are:
- Let's Go
- Wasn't Your Girlfriend
- White Striped Gloves
- Red Carpet
- My Best Friend
- Lean On Me
- Leavin'
- License For Love
- If I Didn't Have You Featuring Emily Osment
- Strangers Like Me
- Tell Me"
Not only is this inappropriatly worded for Wikipedia but it has no buisness being featured on Mitchel Musso's article and cites no reliable sources or refrences (much like a majority of the information in this article). If any of Musso's albums manage to pass notability they should have their own articles. Thank you, 72.152.135.75 (talk) 17:12, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Mitchel musso (Personal Life)
editThe text doesn't include that Miley Cyrus Is one of Musso's good friend's along with Emily Osment.Carmen1497 (talk) 23:45, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
State Fair
editMusso performed at a State Fair. So what? For openers, we need a reliable source for contributions. We haven't had one yet for this performance. But the real problem is that this is a trivial event. Musso has done lots of things that we do not include in the article for the sake of having a readable article. If we include everything we can find about him, the article would quickly become a long, boring list of places he's performed, what songs, who has interviewed him, what they said, what they were wearing, etc. Wikipedia is not an exhaustive listing of all of the trivia we can dig up.. - SummerPhD (talk) 21:13, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Touring
editIs the blog comment regarding a tour that never happened really necessary? He toured with Metro Station in July and part of August 2009 in support of his album, and did a headlining tour in the latter half of August and throughout Sept. But I'm sure he'll do more tours, so where do we draw the line? Maybe this section should be eliminated altogether? Or at least until he's accumulated a longer list of tour mates. Elisa06 (talk) 08:54, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
yeah, idk if he's ON tour right now but he's doing a concert at the Great New York State Fair and that's not listed. Anyone wanna do it? Fan4me (talk) 22:54, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Never mind, i did it Fan4me (talk) 23:03, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Additional Appearances
editIs there anything truly significant about any of these, other than the Seventeen Forever video? He's done many signings, and made guest appearances at several events, and will continue to do so in the future, so again, where do we draw the line? Elisa06 (talk) 09:01, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
Discography
editIt's incomplete, judging by the main article on his discography. His music videos are most notably absent. Perhaps the entire discography should be copied over? Or maybe delete the discography from his page, and just have the link? It's inconsistent. I don't understand how one discerns what information to include, and what to exclude from a person's main article. Elisa06 (talk) 09:10, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
Picture
editThe current picture is 3 years old. He's grown up a lot from age 15 to 18, and the picture should reflect that. Elisa06 (talk) 09:17, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
Family Members
editShouldn't there be a more obvious reference (other than "family" in Addional Appearances) to Mitchel's kinship to Mason Musso, considering he was the lead singer of a successful mainstream band? Elisa06 (talk) 09:23, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
New Album
editI have a recent video where he specifically says he's in the middle of recording his second album! Elisa06 (talk) 09:30, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
