Too soon?

Isn't this article a bit early, considering we haven't even had the 2016 edition yet? Richard3120 (talk) 19:55, 22 October 2016 (UTC)

Of course that means have unreferenced are called WP:CRYSTAL and WP:TOOSOON, they considered 2017 edition just yet before add article we need to add source from date and venue. also redirect better if recreate article just at least more than editors. even if disruptive editor let me request from RFPP. See the discussion Oripaypaykim (talk) 07:11, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

I think its bit soon. I just reverted the date, since there are no sources. I tried to locate a valid source but couldn't find it, the 2016 event just happened in January 2017.

Miss Bolivia Height

HELLO:

I changed the height data of Miss Bolivia, because OBVIOUSLY the measurement it's wrong; the Miss Universe contestants profiles are in construction and may have errors. I accept Miss Universe page should to be the first source for this article, but, We should to have CRITERIA, and support with anothers sources. I will change the height again. @Alex Duilius: Hello, Alex. Thank you for engaging in discussion. There are two problems here that need to be addressed. Although I agree that the Miss Universe number is probably incorrect, I also note that this wouldn't be the first time on Wikipedia that reliable sources disagreed about a fact. The usual technique for addressing that problem is to simply let the reader know about the discrepancies and trust them to be smart enough to figure out which is more plausible. But that leads us to the second problem here -- the current source for Miss Bolivia, the eju.tv article, doesn't mention Noguer's height at all. And so, we were being presented with the choice of going with a number that was probably wrong or going with a number that was unsourced. Frankly, in a case like this, you would have had better luck arguing to keep the entry blank rather than arguing to use an unsourced number.

I did a bit of research and found that Angelopedia is reporting Noguer's height as 175 centimetres (5 ft 9 in). In a few minutes, I'll add this alternate source as a footnote, so that readers can judge for themselves whether they want to trust the Miss Universe number. Well, the eju.tv article is here, and I don't see where the height is being reported. But it's a moot point, because I see that you found your own alternate source (urgentebo.com), which I've used in the footnote. Thanks again for engaging in discussion. Miss Panama is Miss Congeniality 2017

Although the Miss Congeniality award was not given live on the stage of the final night of the Miss Universe 2017, this does not mean that this special award was eliminated because the candidates of the contest voted for those who considered the most friendly or friendly and the winner of this award given by her companions was Miss Panama Laura Sofía de Santics who for the first time in the 66 years of the existence of the Miss Universe contest won Panama the title of Miss Congeniality, which also had the delivery of a certificate and a cash prize awarded by the Org.
