The reference given in the article does not have the inforamtion that the article claims it has. Google turns up nothing, so I am tagging this as a hoax until reliable references are provided. Passportguy (talk) 17:02, 30 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I can't confirm it on GBooks, but it appears sourced to cocktail historian Wayne Curtis in And a Bottle of Rum (2006). I'm not sure why "alka seltzer" was added to this article, so I removed it. Considering the history of the mojito, what makes you think this is a hoax? Viriditas (talk) 23:48, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
