It's actually quite possible - probable, even - that he is notable. Unfortunately, there appear to be a range of socks recreating the article, and per our usual policies, we don't allow their edits to remain. The article needs to be re-written, rather than restored, or at the very least needs to be restored by an editor in good standing, who can then take ownership of the content.
