San Jose Mogote is noted for its early production of magnetite mirrors which they traded to Olmec centers (I think all or many of the mirrors at an Lorenzo were produced in San Jose mogote). It is an open question whether the people of San Jose Mogote were Olmecs or Proto-Zapotecs (or both or neither). But I think that San Jose Mogote has an important role in early mirror production that ought to be included. I think there is an actual mirror workshop found in San Jose Mogote.
