Victim of the Jasenovac concentration camp

edit

Regarding this edit:

  • One cannot say "falsely listed" without sourcing for that claim, because we don't know which of the two sources is right. If we knew, the correct description would then be "erroneously listed" - note the difference between "erroneously" (wrongly by mistake) and "falsely" (wrongly by deliberate falsification) - unless there is a source that confirms there was a deliberate falsification.
  • One also cannot say "by communist authorities": that's Holocaust Survivors and Victims Database of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, actually, and once "falsely listed" is removed, it's beside the point, whichever if was. GregorB (talk) 01:41, 1 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • If you look at the link to USHMM, you will see that they imported this data from the Jasenovac Memorial Site, which bases most of its data on the communist list from 1964. For the particular case of Miroslav Juhn, the claim is based on the public newspaper of Socialist Republic of Croatia (NNOV). Nbanic (talk) 10:46, 1 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • I now added the link to the article about false claiming.[1]
  • As for the communist authorities, I now put the fact that they considered him to be a victim of Jadovno and I gave the reference to the official list of victims for Croatia created in 1964.[2]Nbanic (talk) 10:54, 1 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • I removed the proposed deletion and added more information on Miroslav Juhn and more references. I also now mentioned that he is considered one of the forerunners of the Praxis School. Nbanic (talk) 12:27, 2 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • I removed the claim that his grave is at Mirogoj Cemetary.[3] If you pay close attention at the photo of the plaque where his name is mentioned, it says "U SPOMEN POGINULIMA", which is translated in English as "in memory of the dead". His grave is unknown i.e. it is somewhere at Jadovno. Nbanic (talk) 16:22, 18 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
