1.

  • "as two distinct forests, one in the First Age in Beleriand" - link Beleriand at the first mention, not the second
Done.
  • Link Orcs
Done.
  • "Higher elevations in Southern Mirkwood" - unsure if southern should be capitalized or not, I really don't have a great idea on that
Lower case it is.
  • The Hobbit is a duplink
Gone.
  • "19th century " - I think this should be hyphenated
Bet you someone takes it out again!

2.

  • "In The Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, with Thorin Oakenshield and his band of Dwarves, attempt to cross Mirkwood during their quest to regain their mountain Erebor and its treasure from Smaug the dragon. Losing the Elf-path, they became lost in the forest and are captured by giant spiders. They escape, only to be taken prisoner by King Thranduil's Wood-Elves. The White Council flushes Sauron out of his forest tower at Dol Guldur, and as he flees to Mordor his influence in Mirkwood diminishes." - Entire paragraph is uncited
Done.
  • "The wizard Radagast lived at Rhosgobel on the western eaves of Mirkwood, as depicted in the film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." - citation needed
Done.
  • "King Sheave, The Lost Road and Other Writings, 91 [1]" - the [1] goes to "tolkienwiki", that link should probably be removed
Gone.
  • Ref 23 lacks the author, as does ref 25
Fixed.
  • Where applicable, can you add accessdates? It may seem like nothing, but it helps with verifiability if the link goes dead in the future.
Done.
  • I would recommend splitting the refs into primary and secondary ref sections. That way, it's clear who the author is on the Tolkien refs where you only use the book and don't name JRRT.
Done.

3.

  • Do you think the Enchanted River flowing through Mirkwood should be mentioned, since it does have a plot effect in The Hobbit? I don't want to add cruft, but it does redirect here. If it's deemed out of scope, it might be worth looking into seeing if "Enchanted River" could be a reference to anything else and then retargeting.
Added.
