Update

I've updated this article a bit using the latest version of the manual. I thought some of the history, theory, and statistics might be important, or useful. Please let me know if anyone thinks more needs to be added - I would be happy to look through the manual to see what I can find. ONeil1rl (talk) 23:37, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

I've amended this article, but I don't have the information to hand re: determining personality types and facets (see MCMI interpretive guide). Could someone add it in? I have added a reference on the limitation of validity to clinical populations. But it is only to the publisher's FAQ page, so there are probably better, more authoritative references on that matter, so it would be good if someone could supply that.

The sentence following that one sorely needs two references. On what bases is it stated that (a) "there is a strong evidence base that shows that it still retains validity on non-clinical populations" and (b) "psychologists will often administer the test to members of the general population."? — Preceding unsigned comment added by WagePeace (talk • contribs) 02:47, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
