Cleanup edit

cleanup for start Victuallers 22:49, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay, this page is definitely going to be in need of some serious cleanup. Firstly, although Jay Tilde is (not published but seemingly true) a Millard North Alum, I don't know if he can be categorized as a notable alumni. As a Millard North student I have not once heard the name. Eric Crouch, yes, Jay Tilde... not so much Cornhusker1225 04:02, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

you guys suck eric crouch went to south dumbshit

Please sign your comments and be respectful. Eric Crouch, did go to MN, there is picture evidence on the internet. Also he worked as a QB coach at Millard North in 2007-08. I would know, I worked with him. If you are going to make such a claim, please back it up. Thank you. Cornhusker1225 (talk) 15:02, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am labeling this article as {{cleanup}} and {{npov}} for the reasons mentioned above. Tuxide 07:07, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Trivia edit

Okay, a Millard North editor rescuing the article! (Note: This particular student of Millard North High actually is currently only in 7th grade and Kiewit Middle School) Someone should integrate the sole fact in the Trivia section before I get rid of it. Fair use rationale for Image:Millardnorth.gif edit

Image:Millardnorth.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

BetacommandBot 23:29, 6 November 2007 (UTC) Other notable alumni include Eric Crouch and Shay. Shay was known as a real go getter who often would go out of her way to befriend those less popular students, also known as "Nerds" or "Geeks". Shay won many awards in the ways of science fairs as well as speech and debate competions. The North wing on the lower level has been dedicated to Shay and is affectionatly known as "Really Wing" where even to this day the "Unpopular Students" gather. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.243.225.120 (talk) 18:51, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

'Shay' isn't in reference to Shayla is it. Shayla doesn't qualify as alum and to be considered notable has to do something extraordinary beyond High School. Although, as far as I know her, Shay is a wonderful person.Cornhusker1225 (talk) 15:04, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not MRSA edit

The media reports were wrong and over-reacting. The Staph infections were common staph, not the dangerous MRSA!72.206.112.26 05:02, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't think that should be included in the school's info. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.227.163.40 (talk) 21:36, 26 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

NHL Hockey players edit

So, not many MN students even realize this, but having two alum in the NHL is very notable, and so I will include it.

Why the 5 OT game is notable edit

It's been kept on here because of it's importance in the NSAA record books, but the reasoning is not included, adding: 'longest game in state playoff history' to the text. Also removing "Golf team is extremely talented" you guys deserve a fair shake, but just saying your talented doesn't back itself on wikipedia, reference an article or some statistic, please. Also, I believe it was 2005-05 when the baseball team went undefeated and was ranked in the top 10 nationally. This deserves mention as well, and I will include it once I find a source. Speech and Debate edit

Millard North Speech and Debate team is ranked 9th in the nation, Using the National Speech and Debate Association webpage I found this out. However, when I try to change it redirects. The source is cited here [1] I think that this gives evidence to conclude that MN is ninth. Also, I am the IP address that has been editingRthakker (talk) 21:20, 29 April 2015 (UTC).Reply

Content in an encyclopedia is driven by what people are writing about. It is quite appropriate to be really proud of that ranking, but it is not the ultimate achievement the school article guidelines call for as an appropriate level of achievement to include. Even if it were clear how these rankings were arrived at, there are still 8 teams that are better. John from Idegon (talk) 21:53, 29 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
