Tight End?

edit

He has never been listed as a TE on any NFL or college roster, nor has he worn a TE (or eligible receiver/back) jersey number. Because he occasionally checks in eligible (as many many bigger players do in goal line formations) and has had some memorable plays from that position does not make him any more a tight end than it makes Ronnie Brown a quarterback. Change

edit

The article, as of 2006-06-30, said that Vrabel's position underwent a "minor" change. This isn't really correct: there is a significant difference in terms of responsibilities and expectations for inside linebackers (ILBs) versus outside linebackers (OLBs). Vrabel's ability to play both positions is very much the exception, not the rule; the positions are not considered interchangeable. Thus, I changed "minor change" to "major change."
