Main Card Format edit

There seems to be some back-and-forth on how the fight card should be structured. While I am unaware of any wikipedia format policy, looking at other major cards, the main fight is put in the fight card. See Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley, Victor Ortiz vs. Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez III as PPV examples where this is the case. This format is also used in non-PPV fights (see Yuriorkis Gamboa vs. Daniel Ponce de León) as well as other combat sports (see UFC 100). Plus, having the information in the fight card lets a reader quickly view who is on the card without reading the text above, see who is on TV and who is not, etc. While not all pages follow this format, most do (and the others should probably be changed). Therefore, unless there is a compelling reason otherwise, the Cotto-Margarito fight should be in the fight card. RonSigPi (talk) 14:51, 16 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
