Talk:Mieres

Please leave my sentence as it is. Comprises is NOT correct and completely changes the meaning of the sentence. "Comprised of" is both grammatically and contextually correct. Asturnut (talk) 05:52, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

At first I was confused about the name of this article being soley "Mieres". However, I realized that this article refers simply to the municipality of Mieres. There is a seperate Wikipedia page for the city of "Mieres del Camino." Also, every source I referenced had Mieres' population is between 45 and 50 thousand inhabitants. This includes Spain's census bureau. I lived there and am quite sure these sources are correct given the density of the population and the number of high rises and congestion. I have added references citing the population of Mieres. Asturnut (talk) 06:20, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The City is not "Mieres" is "Mieres del Camino" and has 25,000 inhabitants. Anonymous
