Lindell boulevard
editA long time ago I spent year at Saint Louis University and stayed at Lewis Memorial Residence (3701 Lindell blvd). I was quite impressed by the architecture on Lindell: the stately Scottish rite Cathedral, the New Masonic Temple right next door(we students used to call it the doubledecker acropolis) etc. Even our graduate dorm still displayed some of the charms of the 1920s hotel it had been. There was a lot of urban decay to be seen around that once so proud boulevard, but it still had some unique sights to offer. As this seems to hold true for today too I would recommend to make Lindell blvd feature prominently in this article about Midtown St.Louis.
