Could these microbes/microorganisms be at all beneficial in controlling the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico?

They are already doing their job, oxidising the oil in the water. Unfortunately they use all the oxygen while doing so. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 00:24, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
