GA Sweeps review edit

In order to uphold the quality of Wikipedia:Good articles, all articles listed as Good articles are being reviewed against the GA criteria as part of the GA project quality task force. While all the hard work that has gone into this article is appreciated, unfortunately, as of July 26, 2008, this article fails to satisfy the criteria, as detailed below. For that reason, the article has been delisted from WP:GA. However, if improvements are made bringing the article up to standards, the article may be nominated at WP:GAN. If you feel this decision has been made in error, you may seek remediation at WP:GAR.

  • My biggest concern with this article is that it does not meet 3a of the good article criteria, in that it does not address the main aspects of the topic. Having read it, I'm even unclear about what the corridor actually is.
  • "With 14 years left in the program, the leaders of Michigan hope that such investments in high tech research will expand the State's economic base." Fourteen years left fom when? The statement is unsourced, without which it has the appearance of a puff piece.
  • "The BSRB won the 2007 AIA honor award." What are BSRB and AIA?
