editRE: notability: I've added a few links from the Science Fiction Internet Database and other places, and tried to pick up a few more details about her work and life from the Internet. Four novels from respectable publishers like Bantam and Tor ought to count for something in terms of respectability. (Sorry not to have written a more detailed entry -- I don't have a lot of time for this, just trying to add a few short bios of female SF writers, which hope fully someone else with better research skills will flesh out.)
