Conflict of interest? edit

Could someone clarify what "close connection" means here, and how it was decided that one exists? I attempted to include only information that was verifiable by third party media, and I have no connection to the subject other than an interest in his background in the context of the Congressional race in FL. The COI tag requires that the editor who places the tag start a discussion. Since (1) they did not start the discussion and (2) you have denied COI, I will remove the tag. – Lionel(talk) 03:37, 13 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Michael Waltz edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Michael Waltz's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 08:04, 3 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Not sure this aligns with the neutral point of view policy. There are several sections that come off more like a promotional piece.
