Controversy edit

It would seem that people may be letting their emotions/football biases get the better of them here. The Prince of Wales incident is noteworthy and belongs in the article, however, as per Wikipedia's guidelines (mentioned at the top of this page) controversial material pertaining to living persons must be accurate and well sourced. Some people seem insisitent on repeatedly adding inaccurate 'facts' to the article. It is important to note the following...

- There appears to be no reliable source indicating that Voss initially denied his role in the incident. A direct quotation from Voss himself would be required to assert this claim.

- Voss was charged with assault but did not plead guilty. If this happened, a conviction would have been required. I suggest people who have a query with this should research into criminal diversion programs in Victoria. First-time offenders are often offered the option of a diversion program if they admit their role in the particular incident, but this does NOT equate to a guilty plea.

- Definitive comments that his career was "tarnished" by the incident are POV and do not belong in an encyclopedia. If however one was to cite a reputable source making such a comment, there are ways that can be worked into the article... e.g. "It was suggested by John Smith of the Daily Planet Newspaper that Voss had "tarnished his career"."

The sentence below needs cleaning up. Doesn't make sense. "The problems he suffered with knee problems"??? "Saw a doctor and caught problems with traffic"???

In 2006, the problems he suffered with knee problems yet again, saw a doctor and caught problems with traffic in Brisbane on his way to the Gabba in what Voss described as his "very old knees". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.185.64.192 (talk) 00:17, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

"and lived as a child in Orbost until the age of 11, when ...."

Suggest rearrange, as it implies that he was only a child until 11, after that he was an adult. And you don't live as a child, you are one. If he was only 11, do you need to mention that he was a child? should read ....and lived in Orbost until the age of 11, when.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.185.64.192 (talk) 00:26, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced comments edit

What on earth does "Voss was added to the Brisbane Council when he visited them." even mean? The City Council? A council of people within the Brisbane Lions? Unless it gets sourced or translated into something that makes sense, it should be removed. DermottBanana (talk) 03:58, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
