  • What is the evidence for Straight's confession leading to the unmasking of the Cambridge Spies? The article on them doesn't mention him and suggests it was Venona.
  • Why wasn't he prosecuted?

See this newspaper obituary. The matter seems to have been hushed up at the time. Bwithh 03:40, 20 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Straight took up with the "Cambridge 4" in the UK in th 1920s. Once he came back the States in the late 1930s, he largely broke his ties with the communist underground. With all the VENONA attention, I've never heard his name mentioned in that context. DEddy 03:32, 5 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I'm just looking over this article, and I see a sentence stating that Straight was married in 1939, but it's located near the end of the article, and not in the chronological order. I'm not going to edit this, but is there any explanation why it's like this? InsideLine 17:49, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
