No consensus to move. Vegaswikian (talk) 23:01, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
Michael Oren Fitzgerald → Michael Fitzgerald — The page should be moved to Michael Fitzgerald, instead of Michael Oren Fitzgerald, as "Oren" is Fitzgerald's middle name, and therefore, titling the article Michael Oren Fitzgerald is incorrect.Stephenbloomington (talk) 03:00, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
- Delete as vanity page; his webpage, from which this is plagiarized, calls him Michael Fitzgerald. If kept, therefore, move to the shorter form; the middle name is not incorrect, but does not appear to be common usage. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 21:51, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
- Unsure why this would be accused of being a vanity page. All of the information stated is public domain and factual, that is widely sourced from various news articles and websites. As to it being copied from World Wisdom.com, said website is Fitzgerald's publisher, and therefore, posts biographical information its author. Worldwisdom.com is cited as a source in the links. Stephenbloomington (talk) 01:17, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- The idea that a publisher would write neutrally and impartially about his list was a joke 200 years ago; it is less than that now. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 02:43, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- Even accepting that point, the information that is sourced from Worldwisdom.com is a small portion of the material in the article. I have also inserted a reference from a Peer Reviewed journal "Sacred Web" which would meet Wikipedia's definition of a reliable source. Regardless, there are nine other references from various sources which verify that the information contained in the article is accurate.Stephenbloomington (talk) 14:14, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- To cite [[1]], "Published authors are kept as notable if they have received multiple independent reviews of or awards for their work".Stephenbloomington (talk) 14:39, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- There's already an article called Michael Fitzgerald, so this would have to be disambiguated anyway.--Kotniski (talk) 09:04, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
