The Queen edit
I have a book which says McClure has a play called The Queen in which LBJ plots the assassination of JFK, and which Dennis Hopper failed to have made into a movie.
Is there such a play? Varlaam (talk) 15:40, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
It seems to be "The Queens" (plural). I'm probably looking at the same book of interviews. It sounds like it never was produced. 850 C (talk)
Ungrammatical sentence in current article edit
The following sentence in the article as accessed today is ungrammatical:
"Educated at the Municipal University of Wichita (1951–1953), the University of Arizona (1953-1954) and San Francisco State College (B.A., 1955)[1][2] McClure's first book of poetry, Passage, was published in 1956 by small press publisher Jonathan Williams.[3] "
This implies that it was his book of poetry that was educated at these three institutions, and not McClure himself, as 'McClure's first book of poetry' is the subject governing 'Educated at...'.
I would suggest splitting into two sentences along these lines:
"McClure was educated at the Municipal University of Wichita (1951–1953), the University of Arizona (1953-1954) and San Francisco State College (B.A., 1955)[1][2]. His first book of poetry, Passage, was published in 1956 by small press publisher Jonathan Williams.[3]"
