Birthyear
editWas Michael born in 1938 or 1939? Hotwine8 02:52, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
She was born in 1939. She also was married to my half-brother, William Parker the Fourth (not IMDB IV but real IV), in 1979. I do not know what happened as she's listed as married to another man since then. On William Parker's IMDB page, a "bill parker" from England said that he was erroneously listed as having died in 1993, but that may have been my half-brother instead who died, and I really do not know.
Pronounciation
editIs it pronounced like the male name 'Michael'?
- I think so, but *why* was she given this name? I have always wondered, and came on here to check. Salopian (talk) 11:27, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- Is you think that’s strange, check out who Prince Michael of Kent is married to. ;-) — Chameleon 13:45, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- "Princess Michael" is a title - it's not her name. Her name is Marie-Christine. She holds the title of Princess Michael as she is a Princess by marriage, not by birth. 176.113.94.129 (talk) 10:28, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

- Yes, it is the same pronunciation as the boy's name "Michael". This is rather unusual, and on the Waltons, she was credited as "Miss Michael Learned" in order drive the point home. I wonder why this is not mentioned in the article itself. It seems rather important.2A02:2454:9860:5300:E91F:6162:7AF8:D223 (talk) 10:51, 9 April 2022 (UTC)
Spouses
edit3 or 4? Looking at other web pages on her, some say she's still married to William Parker, while others say that marriage ended (but not when) and that she married a lawyer, John Doherty (again, not when). Even in this Wiki article, the infobox says 3, but the narrative under the "Life" section says 4. Esaons (talk) 12:19, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Just today (June 17, 2010), I saw a story in the Tidings (Los Angeles) that mentioned her, and that she is married to John Doherty. The box needs to be fixed. 208.127.183.131 (talk)
