Political dispute with Victor Gollancz

Some more information not in those two sources.

• Victor Gollancz founded the Left Book Club. We say, "The Left Book Club, founded in May 1936, was a key left-wing institution of the late 1930s and 1940s in the United Kingdom ..."
• Michael Joseph published the first edition of Gibbs in 1938 and a revised edition in May 1939. --and that "New and rev. ed." was also published in 1939 by the Right Book Club.[1] and there is a Right Book Club edition is now also an E-book, iiuc.

Our biographical article Philip Gibbs --primitive in format but not short-- does not mention Across the Frontiers.
