Fair use rationale for Image:Michael J Jackson 1988.jpg

Image:Michael J Jackson 1988.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Image and sources

I have edited the article to remove the fair use image. Policy on fair use in Wikipedia states that some kinds of fair use images cannot be used on articles, and especially : "Pictures of people still alive, groups still active, and buildings still standing; provided that taking a new free picture as a replacement (which is almost always considered possible) would serve the same encyclopedic purpose as the non-free image." There is also move information in the templates at the top of this page.

I also removed the fansite reference per the Wikipedia policy on verifiability, which says : "Anyone can create a website or pay to have a book published, then claim to be an expert in a certain field. For that reason, self-published books, newsletters, personal websites, open wikis, blogs, forum postings, and similar sources are largely not acceptable."

Michael J. Jackson (actor) → Michael J. Jackson – Michael J. Jackson currently redirects to the singer, Michael Jackson (whose middle name was "Joseph"); however, the overwhelming common name of the singer is "Michael Jackson", and he was rarely ever known as "Michael J. Jackson" (this variation appears only in some legal documents). The actor is known fairly exclusively as "Michael J. Jackson", and I propose that the actor is the primary topic for this variation, and does not need a disambiguator at all. The rare person who looks for the singer at a title including the "J." can be directed there by a modification to the hatnote. --Relisted. • Support. Regardless of what Michael Jackson the singer's middle initial is, he most certainly is not commonly known as "Michael J. Jackson". (Personally, this is the first time I have ever heard him referred to as "Michael J. Jackson".) If a redirect is something people don't generally use to refer to that subject, but it could be used to refer to another subject, then it is a bad redirect, because it does both readers and editors a disservice. The fact that there are over 7000 articles that link to Michael Jackson's article and zero of those articles do so through the "Michael J. Jackson" redirect is a pretty strong indicator that people do not refer to him as Michael J. Jackson. Even stronger is that Michael Jackson's article has been viewed nearly one million times in the past 90 days - 962,771[1] - and, in that time, the Michael J. Jackson redirect has 87 pageviews[2]. That means that, at best, 0.009 percent of readers who wanted to read about the singer did so by looking for "Michael J. Jackson". If the redirect isn't being used by editors who want to link to the article, and it isn't being used by readers who want to find the article, then who is it for? Micheal J Jackson, teacher

Can we add a part anywhere about the fact the Micheal is also a teacher? A brilliant one at that, he taught extra maths for us that struggled in my highschool, Ellesmere Port specialist school for the preforming arts, EPSPA for short, this was about 15-16 years ago mind but still merits a mention in his wiki page! thank you.
