The result of the move request was: Moved to Michael Hall (Texas musician). Per consensus. There is also another option proposed here to merge, which can be done separately from this discussion if boldy deemed so. – robertsky (talk) 03:20, 3 May 2024 (UTC)

- Move to Michael Hall (guitarist) or merge as above. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:32, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
- Mike Hall (bassist) says
Hall elected to switch over to playing the bass guitar
, so aren't both guitarists? * Pppery * it has begun... 20:08, 16 April 2024 (UTC)- Players of the bass guitar aren't usually referred to as guitarists. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:33, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- Mike Hall (bassist) says
- Support move to Michael Hall (Texas musician), since it seems marginally more WP:RECOGNIZABLE than Michael Hall (guitarist). I don't see any indication that this person is primarily known for his guitar playing, rather than the other pursuits mentioned in the article (singing, songwriting, journalism).
