Should a link to DeKort's Youtube video be added? edit

DeKort states in the video that he refrained from using his name. However, his name is mentioned at POGO and a Google search for Michael DeKort video turns it up in the first page of search results. -- Dandv (talk) 07:45, 16 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Personal Message Received from Michael Dekort (imispgh) edit

Received this message today from Mr. Dekort. Apparently he has some anger management issues...

Personal Message Received from Michael Dekort (imispgh) edit

Received this message today from Mr. Dekort. Apparently he has taken to vandalizing his own Wiki page of any references or court documents critical of his case and has taken to threats to include:

"If you change the post again I am going to contact the site admins."

Keep or delete article? edit

Keep (or at a minimum redirect to "Integrated_Deepwater_System_Program#Lockheed_whistleblower") - Michael DeKort's video was all over the news, the case was brought before Congress, there are articles from uscourts.gov, BusinessWire.com, washingtontechnology.com and Project on Government Oversight on the page. At a minimum, the page should redirect to Integrated_Deepwater_System_Program#Lockheed_whistleblower or something to that effect. --Jax 0677 (talk) 13:32, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

If it was "all over the news" there would be plenty of reliably sourced third party content available to create an article. There however is not any in use in the article and I found none from a google news search. Can you provide any of these sources that you say exist? And even if they do exist, WP:BLP1E says that the redirect would be the appropriate action. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:26, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
it appears that the various spellings / spacings / capitalizations of his last name may have impacted my search results. However, it still does not affect the fact that we cannot use the sources that had been used for article content or the fact that WP:BLP1E also applies. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:38, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

We CANNOT use court documents edit

Per Wikipedia:BLP#Misuse_of_primary_sources we CANNOT use court documents, particularly those posted on some blog site, to be sources for article content. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:34, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

This article needs to be merged. Michael Dekort is neither a recurring public figure, nor is known for any historical significance. Additionally him and his "friend" writing his own article is hardly objective. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HawleyPatriot (talkcontribs) 00:03, 21 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
