Is The Title Accurate?
editThe title of the article says that he is a journalist, but it seems more appropriate to refer to the subject of the article as an author/activist. Elmmapleoakpine (talk) 22:50, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
- I agree.NotButtigieg (talk) 15:59, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- A better title would be Mike Evans (evangelical Christian Zionist). A Times of Israel blog post "About Me" page describes him as "an American-Christian Zionist leader and founder of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center in Jerusalem, the world's headquarters of the Jerusalem Prayer Team. Dr. Evans is a multiple New York Times bestselling author, and renowned Middle East expert." [1] and in the post he says "I am an evangelical" and "we evangelicals"[2]. John Fea in Believe Me: The Evangelical Road to Donald Trump describes him as a "court evangelical"[3]. Most of his books are of a religious nature or/and about the Middle East[4]. Charity watch statement
editCharity Watch indicates they have not reviewed Jerusalem Prayer Team or the Friends of Zion, so the opening paragraph may be fake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.118.136.232 (talk) 14:12, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
