@עמירם פאל: - please read WP:MOSETHNICITY - we generally avoid, in the lead, stating ethnicity, religion, or former citizenships when this is not relevant to notability. Furthermore, I question whether jinfo.org is an appropriate source for Wikipedia generally and for WP:BLPs specifically. Icewhiz (talk) 10:51, 28 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
I moved his Jewishness down. As far as I know he is Israeli even today. Icewhiz, I think I remember your contributions to he:wiki, so read his article in Hebrew there. Also, I attach here a source in Hebrew, indicating he was Israeli and a Hebrew University faculty member at least until 2010[1]. עמירם פאל (talk) 10:42, 29 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
That's better (in the body), yes. Hewiki (as other wikis) has a different standard in regards to ethnic/religious designations. If he was tenured in Israel until 2010 that may bear a lead mention, yes. I do however still question - Jinfo.org as a source for "Jewish" - we usually want better sources for BLPs.
