Factual details
editWhile copyediting the article, I've come up with a number of questions:
- Does the source referenced in the introduction for Aneta Pondo, which gives her title as editor-in-chief, also mention that she founded the magazine? I think "founder and editor-in-chief" reads better, and the infobox lists her as Founder, so I've modified the intro accordingly. It may require the inclusion of an extra citation, one where she's mentioned as the magazine's founder.
- The infobox gives a different editor from Pondo. Is ETNA the publisher?
- I have deleted the final sentence of the intro, as the use of "feuilleton" does not make sense in context. The sentence was: "Hanna Bakuła among others is the magazine feuilleton."
- Szafobranko: it says that this event is now being held in Cracow. Was it held somewhere else first? If the citation tells where it started and when it moved to Cracow, that would be interesting information. If it has always been in Cracow, then rewording is in order, because the implication of the wording is that it started elsewhere.
- I'm not sure about Srebrne Lustra being an "event" in the same way the others are. The first two are regular swap events, while the third seems to be a periodic vote that creates a "best of" list. If the results are done in some sort of awards ceremony or big presentation/announcement event, this needs to be explained (and a reference would probably be in order).
I have, as a stopgap, added additional headers, but there are probably better, more standard ones out there. Finally, the bare reference "wkrakowie" needs to be expanded into a full citation. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:37, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- Hello and thank you for you c/e. Yes Aneta Pondo is the editor in chief and founder. Etna is the publisher. How would you replace the sentence that you have removed? The word "felietonista" would translate in English as columnist. So I think we can replace it as "Hanna Bakuła among others is the magazine columnist". The event is being held from the very beginning in Cracow. You are right, the third event has a completely different topic than the first two, however in my opinion it is still a periodic event, which the organizer is MK. - The word "columnist" seems best, as it's in English and the concept is clear. As you can see, I've used a different wording.
- Please be sure to fix the fifth reference, which is currently a bare link. It should be a full citation, like the rest of the references. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:49, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- It should be ok now. --★ Pikks ★ MsG 19:59, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- It's still a bare reference: <ref name="wkrakowie">http://miastokobiet.pl/online/dystrybucja-krakow-nr5-2011.pdf</ref> All that's there is the URL to the PDF file. The citation should include title, date accessed, and so on.
- I appreciate how quick you've been to respond. I'm hoping to hear back from someone with more experience on counting the characters in the "Social events" section. The article is up to 1315 characters without the bullet points in that section, and maybe whoever it is will suggest an alternate format that's more effective and for which DYKcheck will count all the characters. - Can you please check how it looks like after my latest changes? --★ Pikks ★ MsG 22:20, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
