Fair use rationale for Image:Mdc.gif

Image:Mdc.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Student edits 2019

I'm going to have to remove these last new sentences on lead, specifically the following:

Miami Dade college is located infont of the Westland[1] mall which opened in the summer of 1971. Miami Dade does not have dorm[2]s on campus but since the school is so close it will try to help you find housing.[3]

It seems to imply that's the main location of the MDC, which makes it confusing and contradictory, because not only it's actually the location of Hialeah Campus, which is not the main campus, but the year the campus opened was wrong as well (opened 1980-81, not 1971). Alongside factual errors, typos, and WP:NPOV problems (using second person "you"), it uses mostly irrelevant and unreliable sources; the "Labelscar" website is a blog, and it covers the Westland Mall, but not even a single mention was made about the college. The vocabulary.com and the Merriam-Webster "sources" are simply links to definitions about the 2 words, so these ones also failed to verify the statements given in the quote, not to mention the second statement itself is even more confusing than the last.

Pinging @Vsxamandaa, from the First Year Experience Seminar, who was the adder of these statements. Your edits may be in good-faith, but unfortunately I had to remove your edits because of the problems I described above. If you have anything to add to the article that addresses these problems, then please do. If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the Wikipedia:Help desk or the Wikipedia:Teahouse. Thanks. theinstantmatrix (talk) 16:42, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

There is no reference made for the first sentence of the Wolfson Campus paragraph. This information must be referenced to know if it can be verified that information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yenisleygm15 (talkcontribs) 14:52, 29 November 2019 (UTC)

Students at this institution should also be sure to review and adhere to our conflict of interest guidelines and practices as many editors would consider students to have a potential conflict of interest with the college in which they are currently enrolled. I recommend editing other articles to avoid this potential conflict of interest. ElKevbo (talk) 04:36, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
