Good start but needs to...conform to a higher standard of...conformity. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.220.202.21 (talkcontribs)

Mexifornication edit

Maybe a new TV show about a mexican chica in Pico Rivera and a white dude in Venice beach? What say?

two subjects? edit

This article needs a disambig page. One for Mexifornia as a concept/expression, and one for the book called Mexifornia by Victor Davis Hanson. Pablobowden 19:31, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

who is "Hanson?" edit

This article makes frequent reference to someone named Hanson but it doesn't explain or link to who this person is --65.196.107.133 20:04, 18 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rubbish edit

This page is absolute rubbish.

Firstly, are you talking about an English phrase or a book? Because you seemed to have mixed the two together.

Secondly, this article is completely biased and makes statements aboutwho the whole of the people on each side of the border feel. Stereotyping, bias and bald-faced lies.

Please clean it up and remove the all the rubbish and break it into two seperate articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ivan Thomson (talkcontribs) 22:17, April 18, 2007 (UTC)

References edit

I got the references to all appear as notes at the end of the article page, but I am not particularly enamored with the use of ref and note templates except in a stable NPOV article without anticipated changes. As is, anyone editing and wishing to insert a new ref|note combo must also adjust all of the following ref|note combos to make everything else match up. Also added a factual correction regarding Spanish conquest of New Spain, formerly implying that Spain went to war with itself. Appearances do count for something, so I'm glad the notes actually appear, but I will probably re-visit the ref|note combos and re-edit to make html-style ref insertions easier on future editors. Nominate for deletion? edit

This neologism definition might have a better home on a dictionary if it ever catches on. In mainstream media, it's not used except in reference to the book, or a book about this book. Among Americans of Mexican descent, it's not used - there are other terms. Hotfeba 06:17, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It needs to be rewritten as an article on the Hanson Book Mexifornia: A State of Becoming. Wikipedia is not the place for neologisms.--Rockero 04:35, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
