Possible F-16 Falcons

Theres been many rumors going around saying that Mexico is planing on buying f-16 to replace its f-5s from 2008-2012.It also says they want to buy anti aircraft artilary.

Incorrect base location?

Incorrect roundel proportions

I have seen the triangle of the Mexican Air Force with the Green triangle with any kind of proportions, from very small to quite large, in different aircrafts.

It does too, the triangles are concentric and share their centroide (of gravity); the proportion of distances from the common center to the external border of the triangles is in the proportion 1 (green), 2 (white), 3 (red). Combat Aircraft

The exact aircraft quantity is unknown and undisclosed by the SEDENA as such. Mexican generals wanted to purchase the Russian Su-27 but the budget was not approved. No purchase of any supersonic aircraft is on the table as of April 2008. We may see new surveillance aircraft, helicopters and some more Pilatus. Will wait until received and will delete any any rumors, specially those linking to forums. In this report in 2007, general Galvan mentioned the 'need' of sixteen F-16. A request is not the same as a purchase, as we saw with the failed attempt to acquire Su-27 or additional F-5. Although the budget was made available, most of it is spent as salaries to curve desertion and corruption in the military. The F-16 (or the failed purchase of additional F-5s) will NOT be included in this article's fleet because they are rumors only:

Mexico could truly benefit from the purchase of 20-25 F-16 Block 52. I'm tired of them having to rely on the USA for air defense and seemingly only use their F-5E/F for demo flyovers and ground attack exercises. Buy F-16C/D, Mexico! Man.

The Mass Deletion

I erased the ADD ONS on the bottom of the article that hold Equipment of The Mexican Air Force, which they do not have..only the army...they did not even have references do supposed modern weapons listed.

It is always useful and preferred that you discuss such change before doing it, especially when not answering to messages to this effect. I will look up the said equipment, and if so, the deletion is granted along with a note in the EDIT SUMMARY space provided to reflect the purpose and logic of the large deletion. Thank you. For national security reasons, the Mexican Air Force does not disclose the exact type or amount of aircraft in their fleet, but it is estimated at 4,800 aircraft Needs to be edited the current Fleet is at 107 aircraft (this aircraft doesn't exist) Valdez L-07 The Valdez L-07 Luäng Äugnliergüill (Luchador Model 2007) is a 4.5 generation Mexican advanced fighter developed by Valdez Industria and Hydra Technologies of Mexico. It's name "Luäng Äugnliergüill" means Black Eagle in the Aztec language. It's airframe is based of the Sukhoi Su-37 although the L-07 uses no Russian components and is powered by two ROH V-1999/07-B L7 3D thrust vectoring engines.It was designed to be an advance from the Valdez L-04. It is also the worlds only fighter in service that can be fitted with the COFFIN System. The L-07 is the baseline model meant for all around duties. The L/C-07 Model ("C" being for "Combate") is specialized for the air superiority role and has an enemy fighter avionics disruptor system (the only aircraft to currently posses one). The L/A-07 Model ("A" being for "Ataque") is specialzed for the attack role and posses an advanced ground tracking system. `````

Orphaned references in Mexican Air Force

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Mexican Air Force's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
