Not a reference in sight for so long - I believe the lack of material about the usage of the word by Sukarno or his daughter shows a decided lack of any genuine balance to this article SatuSuro 14:13, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

POV problems again

Section on the Philippines sounds completely like an opinion piece. It utilizes adjectives like "double talk policy" and "deceptive", second-guesses the intent of the parties in question, and even compares it to East Timor.-- OBSIDIAN†SOUL 18:47, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

Disputed content

A recent addition of content "The Struggle of the Archipelago" and "The Role of the Archipelago Kingdom" is not relevant to "Merdeka" and also used a reference that does not appear to supportive of the disputed content. The addition and deletion of this content is verging on an edit war. The article may need protection. David notMD (talk) 10:57, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
